You will learn about electrical principles as they relate to polysomnography, be able to explain what electrical bio-potentials are, discuss different amplifiers and how they are used in sleep medicine; know the difference between referential and bipolar electrodes and how they relate to common mode rejection, and learn what polarity, gain and sensitivity are.
